Our Vision and Mission
We are a group of passionate people from the museum world, artists and technology circle, based in Beijing. We believe art should be brought further, yet back to its essence, a visual language everyone of us shall master to understand the world, express ourselves and interact with peers. Based on our understanding of art in the digital age, accessible, affordable, decentralized and relevant to people, we care about how art relates to our life, as being authentic, thematic, participatory and public engaging.
So we founded Artmosphere.
Artmosphere is a media lab and a social enterprise . It explores how art is displayed, appreciated and created in the digital age. Artmosphere is interested in creating digital artworks that exemplify the interaction of art and mentality/behavior. We carry out Open Art Museum project and Public Artists project, bringing artworks, art stories and art inspired products to people in their living environment, realized by mobile APP and Smart Canvas System.

Collaborating with major institutions and artists, making a huge collection of artwork and stories available freely and openly forever, to everyone with the Artmosphere APP, special programs for the schools and communities with support of Smart Canvas.

Encouraging professional and amateur artists uploading digital versions of their artwork to Artmosphere APP and Smart Canvas for public appreciation, with unconventional support of subscriptions and like-donations.

We select only authorized original hi-resolution digital version of artworks and authentic interpretations from museums, galleries, auction houses, publishers, art medias and artists for a constantly growing collection. This is the new sustainable way for artists and institutions of digitally influencing broader audiences, making their artwork and exhibitions, collections, publications accessible and engaging.
